ITEM #945885 AAARGH. His cape is annoying af, the pegs don't fit properly. I managed to get him in the post I want, which is him floating, but the floating thingies won't stand and I have nowhere to put Mokke and UGH. This nendoroid is a literal nightmare. I think I spent like 2 hours or so trying to pose him. I got him in the pose in the end, but if I so much as BREATHE in his direction he'd come crashing down. :') Now I no longer move him hahaha.

I have never gotten a nendoroid for free, but my first nendoroid has to be the cheapest one too because I bought it... well, around 9 or 10 years ago? And prices were not as exorbitant then.

ITEM #908864 I bought him on Mercari JP before he was re-released and I think I spent around $100 or $110 for him? I don't remember exactly but he's my only nendo that's over $100. Even ITEM #1051746 (currently ordered) I only spent ~$90 on.

NOOOOOO DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE dsjlghsjlhgsjhg this is the hardest question you can ask a nendoroid collector! ToT If I ABSOLUTELY had to choose one... I guess ITEM #1359749 . He's one of my most fave characters of all time, and I think GSC Shanghai did a really good job at capturing his character. And they didn't skimp out on the accessories like most modern nendoroids do.

A local comic shop was about to go out of business and thus were having a large sale. Despite not normally selling nendoroids they had him, on sale for about $35, sitting on a high shelf in the very back. I grabbed him immediately and the rest is history.
2. Rarest Nendoroid: ITEM #166928 (if we use the 'owned by' statistic here) or ITEM #464725 (if we go off on how much their asking price has gone up since they released)
Uzume is from a very average 2013 anime so I'm not surprised not many people own her. As for Holo, I bought her for about $50 shortly after her rerelease. And nowadays I see her being sold for well over double (sometimes triple) that amount.
3. Most Frustrating Nendoroid: ITEM #739699
He has multiple spikes that jab into your hand as you try to pose him. His cape isn't attached to him but rather the support stand on this weird clip that never stays in place. It's also very easy for him to pop off the support stand, especially when all you're trying to do is dust. Still adore him! Just never want to repose him ever again.
4. Cheapest/Free Nendoroid: ITEM #166928
Once again, she's from a very average 2013 anime that no one ever talks about. Bought her preowned for about $15.
5. Most Expensive Nendoroid: ITEM #805984
After seeing her price go up and up and waiting in vain for a rerelease, I ended up biting the bullet. Bought her new from a seller for about $115 (including shipping). Her price has gone down a little... But shipping has also gone up a lot so I try to tell myself I got a decent deal.

Mawaru Penguindrum is one of my favorite anime. I just adore her design a lot. Everything on the nendo is perfectly detailed.

ITEM #813031, easily. He and his sister are both a pain in the ass to pose, but him moreso. Thinking about selling them but they have binned HARD due to the newest season not having the warmest reception (and getting nearly half a dozen re-releases over the span of two years??? GSC wth????).

ITEM #6596 I got her incomplete in an auction for about $10 years ago. Aside from not having the box and missing a faceplate and two arms, she's in really good condition!

ITEM #126443. She was also a contender for most frustrating because of her wings never staying in place. Another one I'm considering selling, but still on the fence about it.
6) Favorite Nendoroid
Ah, this one is so difficult! If I had to pick one that I think is the best, it'd probably be ITEM #41459. She comes with so many accessories and is super posable, and is SO green. I LOVE when people give Miku a more green-leaning color palette. For the price I got her for back when she was still a new-ish release ($60 USD about a year and a half after release), I'd say she's very worth it.

In December 2012 I was able to get ITEM #86408, which I believe was also my first figure ever iirc?? (Loved nendos ever since tbh) Since I was smol I’ve always been a huge vocaloid fan, so when I found out a cute, chibi version of my favorite vocaloid existed,,,,I had to have him.
2) Rarest Nendoroid
I’m not 100% sure what would constitute as “rare” for a line like nendos, but I guess maybe ITEM #757554? And I only say that because it’s a Miku nendo who was mildly hard to find (for me) and not many people own it here despite it being a Miku nendo,,,,,plus I’ve seen a lot of ppl mistake it for the older cheerful version ITEM #66010 which is a lot easier to obtain in comparison, so that’s my rational. :,.)
3) Most frustrating Nendoroid
ITEM #1051746 His cape & little staff….awful, but I adore still.
4) Cheapest/Free Nendoroid
ITEM #186 Being the first Miku nendoroid who was probably produced to hell for demand, I think it makes sense why she’s VERY cheap to get 2nd hand, unopened and all. Tho sticky.

I only say ITEM #7993 & ITEM #5599 because I got them as a set, also when I was a kiddo, and didn’t know what a proxy service was, so I found them on eBay one day and managed to convince my mother to get them for me because I ADORED Kuroshitsuji…and it being eBay and from Japan, they were overpriced to hell, esp when you compare it to their OG prices lolol.

Definitely ITEM #98900. I got into light figure collecting when I was still a minor, which means I didn’t have a job and I couldn’t exactly request my parents to buy me unneeded pieces of cute plastic very often. She has definitely skyrocketed over the years and I wish I got her earlier, but I kept pushing her back due to her not being an “Ult fav.” But since I’m still a vocaloid fan, I would really like to own her someday for the rest of my vocaloid nendos, but not for $100+ lol. Honorable mention to ITEM #327295 as well, though I’ve never been a big UTAU fan so it doesn’t hurt as much. :,.)

3. Most frustrating Nendoroid is ITEM #464726, his arms are super loose and were constantly falling off when I was trying to pose him.
4. Nowadays, Tokyo Otaku Mode only lets you use your store points to discount orders up to 50% off, but they used to let you discount stuff up to 100% off if you had enough points. I'd saved up a ton of points a few years ago and got both ITEM #806055 and ITEM #806051 for free, all I had to pay for was the shipping!
5. Most expensive Nendoroid was probably ITEM #872803, I got him unopened on AmiAmi pre-owned for about $80 earlier this year.
6. I think my favorite Nendoroid is ITEM #1552654, he's just so smooth and perfect
7. I hope I can someday find ITEM #1051746 for a decent price, but unless he gets a rerelease I doubt I ever will.

1) My aunt bought me the 2017 release of ITEM #455376 when I was 11. I had gotten figures before then though. LOTS of Nendoroid petits...
2) I don't exactly know how to classify rare, but it was a struggle to find ITEM #287711 and the figure seems to be pretty in demand.
3) ITEM #1055183 always falls apart at his torso and can never seem to hold his bag in place, but I still love him. He is one of my two jojo nendoroids I have on display. The rest get the box treatment because they like to fall apart while I'm at work.
4) I would love to say ITEM #1618545 as I did win an auction for him at 300 yen but it hasn't arrived yet so we will have to see... I honestly only bid on it for the heck of it. I got ITEM #396862 with the PO bonus for $12 from Suruga-ya though.
5) I can pretty proudly say that I have never spent more than $70 on a nendoroid and the nendoroid I purchased for that amount was ITEM #639494.
6) ITEM #871641 set my standard for the Hetalia nendoroid series pretty high. He is so pretty. The shading in the hair and all of the adorable display options won me over moments after I unboxed him. lol
7) ITEM #1464635 isn't unobtainable but I still have not gotten around to purchasing him. It is a similar case with ITEM #1464676.
8) I told myself I would complete my Conan Nendoroid set with the re-release a couple of months ago, but I only got ITEM #822760 in the end. I have been hoping to get Kid for a couple of years now. He was my childhood crush alongside Brock from Pokémon... I don't know if that is something I should admit to.
9) Despite my suspicious auction not having arrived yet, I did recently receive ITEM #1618545. He's super cute!
Love your rarest, but I’d say your 5 is even rarer to find nowadays (at least at a fair price). GSC got us with Hetalia, I got inn late (as always) but they are so good, the details, the shading, the faceplates... everything about the bois tells me OR cares about them.
