Comments Anime worth watching just for the figures?

People have commented about Fate already, I just wanted to share my experience with it, because Saber alter Vortigern by GSC (I´m bad with links :´) not only got me to watch the show, but also into figure collecting itself, she is really powerful and for that reason my ultimate grail figure.

Recently I have been really loving all the "Is the order a rabbit" figures, especially the original Plum set of the girls in the maid outfits, so that is an anime I will watch just to get those pretty girlies

I started watching Banana Fish when their Nendoroids went up for pre-order because damn they are cute asfffffff. But I had no idea what the show was so I watched about half of it, decided I FREAKING LOVE IT, ordered them and then watched the rest of the series. It's now in my top 10 favorite animes I've watched and it's all because I liked their figures.

So if you see a figure that really appeals to you, but don't know the show, definitely watch it! You may find yourself with a new favorite!

That's actually why I started watching Re:Zero, because someone had gotten me an Emilia figure as a present and now I have a whole shrine for her! There's lots of other cute characters too, and lots of really interesting and dynamic figures.

Love Live! is always a good recommendation for that.

I watched Love Live because I loved the bright, candy colors on this figure: ITEM #166883

Now I have shelves of LL figures ahaha. I also tried to watch Idolmaster because I loved the figures, but I couldn't get into it.

Recently I watched Tian Guan Ci Fu because I thought this figure was so precious: ITEM #1226078

Fell in love with it, so that was a great choice

virgogf • 1 year ago • #102933365oh i didn't even realise there's multiple versions, thanks for pointing that out! i guess i'll just watch it in release order then It's good. :) There's the OVA that was made in 2010 and then there's the TV version made in 2012. The OVA is more of a slice of life while the other version is more of a drama. There's also the original music video that started it all. ^_^

Next year there's going to be a new anime titled "Dawn Fall." I'm stoked for that one!

I got into the Witch Hat Atelier series because of ITEM #872645, though the series only has one other figure right now. It's currently only a manga series but it's getting an anime adaption at some point too. I think that's the only series I've gotten into solely from the figures.

I also got into Witch Hat because of this figure! She was on my wishlist before I even had a chance to pick up the first book. The art style is stunning and this figure is so unique compared to others on the market.

I watched yurucamp for that reason. Loved the show probably more than the figures i only got the furisode ones of nadeshiko and shimarin but they have so many nice figures. Im hesitating to buy more though dont want to break my 1 digure per character rule
