Hi, does anyone know how long goodsmile official store usually takes to reply to inquiries? I've sent them a message about an order that's been lost in the mail, but so far no reply, 6 work days have passed already : /

Considering the Japanese blog is still updated it seems like they just stopped translating it. Haven't seen an announcement or anything about it so it's just a wild guess.

It did help a lot.

I don't think it will necessarily ease his frustration of the wait since he really wants to have the figure asap but I forwarded (your MFC details removed) what you said so hopefully it will be good news over the next 2 months as he was thinking of cancelling if they haven't communicated by the end of the year.

I doubt he will cancel though as I'm sure the communication will happen soon.

Hello!
As a fellow collector from the US and orders from the Good Smile US branch, it sometimes takes 2-4 months for a figure to reach their US warehouse/store (especially with the pandemic going on). Your friend would need to start worrying if they hadn’t gotten in stock within 4 months (which would be by February 2022).
Before the pandemic happened, it would take 1-2 months but now it takes 2-4 months.

My question/comments today were to check on the procedures the US division of Good Smile Company's online shop use when it comes to notifying customers of an item/dispatch.
I am based in UK so my experiences is only of the ship process directly from Japan.
The item in question is ITEM #806034
Following the product notification email last Monday I duly received an email a few hours later to say my card charged and then today I received my dispatch email with tracking to confirm Reimu is at last on her way.
My friend in the US however has had nothing at all from the US branch of Good Smile. Now I realise the US is much bigger in terms of dispatches/customers ordering etc but should any alarm bells be flagging here?
My friend has ordered many things over the site before but he particularly wanted this figure as he's a big Reimu fan so now he's a bit worried he may not have done things correctly, his order is all fine on the site from what we can see.
If any US readers/customers can provide any info I'd appreciate, I just want to make sure he gets his order than loose out.
